The short version

We collect what you give us (like your name, email, and phone) so we can deliver the recording you asked for and stay in touch.
We never sell your information.
Your mobile number and text-message consent are never shared with third parties for their marketing.
You can unsubscribe, reply STOP to texts, or ask us to delete your information anytime.

1. Who we are

This policy covers the workshop pages, thank-you pages, member area, and emails run by Alan Stern and Persona Marketing Inc. ("we," "us," "our"). If you have questions, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

Contact details: your first name, email address, and phone number when you request a recording, buy a workshop, or contact us.
Member account details: your login email and the password you set for the member area where recordings and workbooks are hosted.
Purchase details: for paid workshops, your name, billing details, and order history. Card payments are handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store your full card number.
Messages: anything you send us by email, text, or form.

Information collected automatically

Usage and device data: pages visited, links clicked, browser and device type, approximate location from your IP address, and similar technical details.
Cookies and similar tools: used to keep forms and the member area working, remember preferences, measure how pages perform, and, if enabled, show relevant ads (for example, the Meta Pixel).
Email activity: whether our emails are opened and which links are clicked.

3. How we use it

Deliver what you asked for: the free recording, workbook, member-area access, or a purchased workshop.
Send the welcome email, login details, and follow-up emails related to the workshops.
Send marketing emails about other workshops, events, and services. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Send text messages only if you have given consent (see Section 4).
Answer questions, schedule speaking engagements, and provide support.
Improve our pages, content, and ads, and keep the site secure.
Meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

4. Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we may send messages about the workshops, your access, and related offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party, except the service providers that send the messages for us.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for them to do that work:

Go High Level / LeadConnector: forms, contact management, email, text messages, and the member area.
Phonesites: hosting for our landing pages.
Stripe: payment processing for paid workshops.
YouTube and Google: embedded preview videos and web fonts, which may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
Advertising and analytics platforms such as Meta, to measure and improve our ads.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or merger of the business.

6. Your choices and rights

Emails: click "unsubscribe" in any email.
Texts: reply STOP.
Cookies: block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features, like the member area, may not work without them.
Access, correction, deletion: email us and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's or country's privacy laws, and we will honor them.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you are subscribed or have member access, and as long as needed for the purposes above or to meet legal requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.

8. Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

Our workshops are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Links to other sites

Our pages may link to other websites or embed content from them. Their privacy practices are their own, so please review their policies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page. Significant changes may also be announced by email.
